The space
We’re only about a mile to the Bay and 3 miles to beautiful Bay Bluff’s Park! We’re close to the airport, downtown, and only about a 20 minute scenic drive to the main beach! We’re close to many restaurants, shops and conveniences. We’re in a quiet, prestigious cul-de-sac in the much sought-after NE Pensacola area.

HEATED POOL March 1st-November 1st
This charming apartment is perfect for either short or long-term tenants. The gorgeous 18’ x 36’ in-ground pool and patio area are maintained throughout the year. The King-sized memory foam bed is extremely comfortable. (FYI, one side of the bed is against a wall).
Your apartment is a dedicated guest space with its own private entrance! You share the laundry room (with a downstairs entrance under your entry stairs), new game room and yard with the main house. The garage suite has our on-site host, David. He'll assist you as needed while allowing you plenty of space-he has his own entry and patio area. It’s set up like condos.
The kitchenette has an oversized mini-fridge, two top-burner toaster/convection oven, coffee maker, toaster, and all supplies. There's a full-sized, comfortable, inner-spring futon, new kitchen table and many other new items.
You will enter from the backyard patio area and you will go up the stairs. There’s a keypad entry. Everything is well-lit with three motion-detector lights as you enter the apartment. You will need to step down 6.5 inches into the apartment.
We apologize, but we can't accept any animals. There are some shared spaces and there are a few plants that are toxic to dogs. There's a wonderful, very reasonably priced and highly rated vet just down the street that boards animals.
Most importantly, please enjoy the beautiful area and our guest spaces as much as we hope you will!!

There is a gorgeous, seasonally-heated in-ground pool and the backyard has a privacy fence. The pool is professionally maintained with a great patio area with a table and chairs. There are many pool loungers and floats that you are welcome to use, please just put them back neatly when you're done. You also have a game room that is a shared space. The Pelican Nest hours are from 12 pm-8 pm. Feel free to smoke outside. There are ashtrays outside. You may use the laundry facilities as needed except between the hours of 10-4 pm because they’re reserved for housekeeping. Please do not overload the machine! It's a shared machine, so please be courteous and remove your clothing when complete. Park anywhere in the Cul-de-sac without blocking any mailboxes. The rest of the home is usually rented.
Other things to note
Please note: if it’s too cold to swim, below 70 degrees during the day, or below 50 at night, the pool heater will be turned off. Unlike most hosts, we do not charge for pool heating, but it's extremely expensive to run and we can't run it if it's not going to be used. The pool may be shocked and won’t be swimmable for a few hours.
Please be aware that we also now have two other renting options. You are also able to rent out the 2,000 square-foot Main House or, if you have a large group, you may rent out both the Main House and Pelican Suite with one booking. You can see these other options on this listing. (Subject to availability.)
There is a card table, chairs and games in the closet. The lights for the living area are in the bedroom on the wall by the door and the lights for the bedroom are in the closet.
I leave the rest of the home for myself and my family and friends for vacations. I do rent out the main house, but again, your apartment is fully functional and separate.
There's also an attached mother-in-law suite in the converted garage that is rented to the house manager, David. He’s there to maintain the yard and pool and to assist you if needed. He will allow you plenty of privacy; he has his own separate space, entry and patio. You might never see him unless you need him.
Also note, considering the current crisis, absolutely no unregistered guests are allowed on the property. YOU MUST REGISTER ALL GUESTS. Any violation of these rules will void the rental agreement and guests could be asked to leave.
