Ammie is a perfect host

Very nice home away from home. Ammie is a perfect host. My family & I felt like we were home. We will always check to see if Ammie has availability whenever we plan our trips to Panama City

It was wonderful

We stayed at Ammie's lighthouse property for our family vacation. It was wonderful. Only a few blocks from the beach. The property was so unique. And the place was clean and had everything we needed! Communication was so easy as well. I highly recommend staying at Ammie's place if you are ever headed to Panama!

This adorable cottage

This adorable cottage is close to the beach but far enough away from the crowds that you don't feel too crowded. The decorations are su cute with the water and beach theme. The bed was very comfy and everything you need is in the kitchen. Be aware that there are stairs if that's a problem for you. 

Ammie was a great host

Ammie was a great host. Pro's: The beds was comfy and the beach was in walking distance and it was amazing. Con's : The pool was not working Overall the stay was good.

Pool was perfect for the boys

Great little spot just off of the beach! Pool was perfect for the boys, Mrs. Ammie was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Great little apartment for small family

Great little apartment for small family.. or couple ... 2 bedroom 2 baths is a plus!! has just about everything you need in the kitchen! Private pool was awesome . Apartment convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and of course the beach!! 

Ammie's place is very quiet

Ammie's place is very quiet, private, and comfortable. The location is convenient with an easy walk to the beach, and a quick drive to grocery stores. The private pool was a great perk, and we used the outdoor shower when we returned from the beach. I can't speak for the guest bedroom, but the ensuite bedroom has a VERY comfortable bed. The sheets are super soft and pillows are perfect. I slept better here than I do at home in spite of the early sunrises. Yes the second bathroom is small, but it served our purposes just fine. However, If your second room guests are very large in stature, you might look for different accommodations. The deck has a table with an umbrella that is shady in the morning but you'll need the umbrella for using it later in the day. We enjoyed sitting out there at night. Unfortunately the outdoor rattan seating shown in the pictures were no longer on the deck, but again this was not a problem for us. The table was a great place to enjoy the deck, and we spent a lot of time out there. The kitchen is stocked with a very good assortment of pots and pans and utensils, so cooking was easy. There is a drip coffee maker, so bring ground coffee. She provides the filters, dishwasher tabs and dish soap. Ammie has some reasonable house rules (in my opinion) that were not a problem for us to follow. She's only asking that guests be respectful and considerate of her home and property. Other reviewers mentioned the thermostat temperature request as a problem. We mostly kept the AC on 78 during the day and 76 at night, and it felt great to us. The daytime temps were sunny and 88 outside but the apartment felt very comfortable to us. Overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We enjoyed the place and Ammie was a very responsive host who genuinely wanted to make our stay a good one.
